when it's cloudy on the beach there's not much to do....so we turned to arm wrestling competitions with the maasai!?!

so then it was Baraka (maasai) v's Fatuma (henna/massage seller!)

The puncture episode on our way to the national park....if you havn't heard the story - two tires went in the middle of no where. I left mum n dad in the car to walk to the next village, less than two hours later i came back with a truck full of men to help!

The tanzam highway between Iringa and Dar, hardly a car on the road....absolutely bliss to drive.

There's a stretch of about 50k of road, 2 hous east out of Iringa where you drive through a deserted, dry mountainous area which is literally littered with baobab trees, it's eerily beautiful.
