A recent netball league final I caught whilst doing some placement visits - check out that goal post!

The crowd going wild after a goal to the home team!

Half time - an opportunity to straighten the goal post!

Sorry - too good a photo opportunity to miss!

With vols Samuel and Petro at opening ceremony back in feb, yes I am wearing the outfit from last years closing ceremony-just too damn busy to get to the dress makers!!!!

my new (well not so new anymore) house, in the rains!

With some of the team of researchers on the baseline survey back in january.

This is the crowd i attracted as a mzungu in one of the villages as I sat in the car...very intimidating as they got nearer and nearer!

Not a very productive focus group discussion!

The view from the road which connects Iringa to the Tanzam highway. 8am on the begining of our weekend adventure to the Udzungwa Mountains.

Stretching our legs on the way

The tanzam highway between Iringa and Dar, hardly a car on the road....absolutely bliss to drive.

There's a stretch of about 50k of road, 2 hous east out of Iringa where you drive through a deserted, dry mountainous area which is literally littered with baobab trees, it's eerily beautiful.

....Joseph (good biblical names), ensuring our safety in our search from hippos and crocs on the Kilombero River. Alas not one in sight...
